CARPET CONVERSATION

Misha says:
jim showed us three separate books of carpet samples today and asked us to flag the ones we wanted

Misha says:
and we asked him which ones he wanted, and he pointed at one book and said "cheap"

Ceez says:
jim is so weird

Ceez says:
but I guess carpet doesn't really matter

Ceez says:
are there any berber samples? Might want something hard-wearing

Misha says:
it's all industrial corporate carpeting

Ceez says:
if there's one named "oatmeal" get that

Ceez says:
I love it when people name carpet colors stuff like "oatmeal"

Misha says:
my coworkers wouldn't let me

Ceez says:
it's fuckin carpet

Misha says:
"big sand dunes"

Ceez says:
"hazy wednesday afternoon in Cleveland over Lake Erie"

Ceez says:
and there's a heathered version too

Misha says:
I have one next to me that's called "On the Right Foot"

Ceez says:
jesus

Ceez says:
what color is THAT

Ceez says:
that's not a fuckin NAME

Ceez says:
I can't even tell what that would be

Ceez says:
is it purple?

Ceez says:
I would imagine it's purple

Misha says:
it's kind of a brownish beige with little squares of what looks like tiger striped tan and brown

Ceez says:
what's the point of naming a goddamn rug sample something that doesn't even hint at a color

Misha says:
it's hideous

Ceez says:
see they should name that "tiger puke"

Ceez says:
problem solved

Ceez says:
or "catbox calamity"

Ceez says:
that way you get some clever alliteration

Ceez says:
and a hint of what the color may look like

Ceez says:
as well as the pattern

Ceez says:
I should do this for a living

Um . . .

*mild embarassment*

This is only vaguely related to the above post, but I shall relate, in brief I hope, a story that will explain the question to follow.

I read a lot of webcomics, they come and they go. Once in a long while, when the planets align, I'll take a look at my retired folder of finished comics and see whats up.

Lo and behold, 'twas your blog.

Problem is, my memory is not what it once was, but it's just enough to put a few distant, related peices together, enough to ask the right questions.

So here it is:

Are you Chrissy, of Chrissy and Michelle, the sisters with the impossible-to-spell last name, once of Clan BoB?
